Transition to College Programs
If you have your GED and/or your English Language Skills and your next step is a certificate or degree program, you may choose to enter the Transition to College and Career programs available through the community colleges.
These free programs offer an opportunity to brush up on all the basic skills necessary to succeed in college. The programs enable students to enter college ready to take credit-bearing classes and skip developmental coursework.
If you find yourself on a community college campus and need to take developmental education, check our local schools for coursework with a healthcare focus. New programs are being designed to link to career training programs.
