Responsibilities Include:

Preparing the operating room by ensuring equipment is functional, sterile, and organized according to the procedure

Passing instruments to the surgeon and managing surgical tools during the procedure
Maintaining a sterile field and ensuring adherence to surgical safety protocols
Handling post-operative tasks, such as counting instruments, restocking supplies, and cleaning the surgical area

🎓 Education and Training Requirements

Surgical Technologists
